CryptoLogic, the leading developer of casino software and casino games has signed a multi year contract with Betfair. Cryptologic will provide Betfair with at least 10 new licensed and unlicensed slot machines. The first games will be available for Betfairs 2 million customers at the end of the 2nd quarter.

Betfair is a software company, which creates transaction exchange software for saver casino gambling, which is used by many company’s, the games will be launched through the Orbis Technology’s Open Bet Fixed Odds Games (FOG) platform. Cryptologic announced a deal with Orbis in December of 2008. Since the first transaction in 2000, Betfair is now handling over 6 million transactions per day for their 2 million customers who gamble online. They can pick their own odds, and even bet when a match is already started. Besides transaction software, Betfair also provides casino games, one of which is Betfair Poker. The online casino games will be playable next to the 75 games already provided by Betfair. The 2 company’s have already worked together in 2004, when Betfair launched their poker site with software of Cryptologic’s subsidiary, WagerLogic Limited. Betfair has been named UK company of the year for the second time. CryptoLogic has more then 280 games and has raked in the Gambling Online Magazine’s Top Casino Software award for the fourth time this year, which is seen as the highest honour in the online casino market.
