Leading online casino FullTiltPoker.com is offering players the chance to take home a share of sponsored pro Phil Ivey’s winnings from the main event of next month’s World Series of Poker (WSOP).

The main event of the 40th annual tournament is set to begin on November 7 and, although seventh in the chips going in, Ivey is third favourite at odds of 5/1 with PaddyPower.com and Ladbrokes.com to win the $8.5 million top prize.

FullTiltPoker.com’s Piece Of Ivey promotion is offering players seats into two special freeroll competitions with a percentage of Ivey’s winnings up for grabs. Players can earn tickets into a special prize draw until November 5 by winning hands in cash games on the site or finishing in the money in tournaments. The number of tickets increases alongside the stakes with all of the tickets then going into a drawing for the two freeroll tournaments on November 7.

The first freeroll competition is a nine-player sit-and-go with five percent of Ivey’s winnings up for grabs, three percent for the winner followed by one percent each for second and third. The second event is a $50,000 game with the champion due to take home one percent of Ivey’s WSOP winnings alongside the normal tournament prize.

If the FullTiltPoker.com pro is crowned WSOP main event champion come November 10, players could be in line for $355,000 at three percent and $85,000 for one percent. Ivey will win about $1.26 million even if he crashes out in ninth, which equates to a three percent prize of $37,800.
