Allen Samuels is “Livin De Life”
It’s not uncommon to spot rap and hip-hop stars at the blackjack and craps tables at Atlantic City, but Atlantic City casino host Allen Samuels (or A. Samuels, to use his stage name) has turned the tables with this video for his song “Livin De Life”.
The video has quickly gone viral and features various cameos from athletes, celebrities, and music stars that the 55 year old Samuels appears to have met through his work in the gambling industry.
His inspiration for the song and video is explained at the beginning, in which he claims he was told by French fight promoter that: “You know, Allen, I know a lot of people with money. They do not live the life… you must live the life.”
Samuels goes on to do exactly that in a four minute video that features him on stage rapping, in the studio laying down tracks, playing basketball, and strutting his stuff in front of two Mercedes with the Atlantic City skyline and casinos in the background.
Like any good employee in the casino and gambling industry, Samuels only has great things to say, including: “Casinos were good, got me out of the hood” and “Do your thing, get out of the gate like a fast horse!”
While Samuels likely won’t be quitting his job as a casino host anytime soon, his video is making the rounds of various online poker and casino forums, and the video has 200,000 views and counting.
